Goondiwindi Region Scholarship

In 2026, ÌÔÆ¬×ÊÔ´Íø will offer one Goondiwindi Region Scholarship to support a student from Goondiwindi or its surrounding districts, commencing their studies in a bachelor’s degree program.

The Goondiwindi Region Scholarship was established to support a student commencing at ÌÔÆ¬×ÊÔ´Íø in a bachelor’s degree program who resides in or has relocated from Goondiwindi or its surrounding districts.

The scholarship will have a maximum value of:

  • $12 000 (32-unit degree), or
  • $9000 (24-unit degree).

The scholarship will be paid as a stipend of $3000 per year (full-time study), or $1500 per year (part-time study).

Applicants must:

  • be a currently residing in Australia
  • be a resident of, or have relocated to study from, the Goondiwindi Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA)
    • consideration may also be extended to applicants from the surrounding districts outside the Goondiwindi LGA
  • be a
  • be intending to enrol at ÌÔÆ¬×ÊÔ´Íø in a bachelor’s degree program in Trimester 1 2026
  • have at income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • describe the experiences or influences which have driven your passion for your chosen field of study
    • describe your career goals within your chosen field, and the impact that you hope to make as a professional
  • provide evidence to show you have a permanent residential address in, or have relocated to study from, the Goondiwindi Regional Council LGA, or a surrounding district (refer ), as directed in the application process
  • provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results)  
  • provide evidence of your current financial circumstances.

*Extra consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolling in full-time study.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other ÌÔÆ¬×ÊÔ´Íø awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
