The Tempus Festival has two action packed programs of diverse work - directed, written, adapted and performed by our exceptionally talented graduates.

The ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø’s School of Creative Arts proudly presents the Tempus Festival 2025, showcasing outstanding original and adapted theatrical works by graduating students from the Bachelor of Theatre Program.

Running from 4 to 7 June at the ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø Concert Hall, the vibrant festival features two alternating programs of works written, directed and performed by the next generation of theatre-makers.

Festival Artistic Director and Executive Producer Dr David Fenton praised the students’ process and preparation.

“The students have created these theatre works under extreme pressure,” Dr Fenton said.

“It’s been a high-velocity rollercoaster of writing, adapting, directing, performing, marketing, designing, production management and intimacy coordination – compressed into as little as two months.

“The overwhelming enthusiasm and demand for the project led to the creation of two alternating programs, each offering a bold and eclectic mix of performances.

“From Shakespeare to edgy contemporary theatre, these works explore themes of trauma, friendship, abandonment, and forgiveness.”
