First Nations Student Yarn

Yarning for a stronger student experience.

Have your say. Be heard. Shape what comes next.
When
11 MAR 2026
2.00 PM - 3.00 PM
Where
Online via Zoom

We’re creating a culturally safe space for First Nations students to come together, share their experiences, and tell us how we can better support you throughout your studies.

You’ll connect with ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø’s Pro Vice‑Chancellor, Professor Linda Deravin, and members of the First Nations Leadership team.

This is a relaxed yarn - no agenda, no pressure, just an opportunity to:

  • Talk about your Uni experience
  • Raise anything that’s impacting your studies or wellbeing
  • Share ideas for better support, programs, and community
  • Connect with other student mob and First Nations staff.

Your voice helps us build a stronger, safer, and more supportive university environment for all First Nations students.

Everyone is welcome - come for the yarn, stay for the community.
