The ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø Ipswich Health Building is a new three‑storey facility designed to expand health education, research, and training capacity at the ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø’s Ipswich campus. Opening in early 2027, it will provide more than 3000 square metres of modern teaching spaces, laboratories, and student collaboration areas to support the growing demand for health professionals across regional and rural Australia.

The project responds to rising demand for healthcare workers driven by chronic illness, an ageing population, and increasing service needs in regional and rural communities. By expanding access to high‑quality education and clinical training, the building will help develop a highly trained, connected health workforce equipped to meet Australia’s evolving health challenges.

The building will bring together ÌÔƬ×ÊÔ´Íø’s teaching and research in key health disciplines, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, nursing and midwifery, paramedicine, and medical sciences.

The facility will feature PC2 teaching and research laboratories on Level 3, flexible learning and collaboration areas on Level 2, and High Performance Sport and Exercise Science facilities on Level 1. These purpose‑built spaces are designed to enhance hands‑on learning, strengthen clinical training, and support the development of Australia’s future health workforce.
